Questions about the work
What these boxes cost, how long they took, and whether we can make yours.
Can I get the exact box in one of these photos?
Close enough that it will not matter. Every one is a real format we print, so tell us which one you like and we will match the board, the finish and the construction, sized to your product and printed with your artwork.
Will you show my boxes on this page?
Only if you say yes. Some brands want the exposure and some are still in stealth, so we ask before anything goes up and we take it down the day you ask us to.
How much did a project like this cost?
Depends on the run, which is why the pricing page has an estimator on it rather than a set of case study numbers that would not apply to you. As a rough guide, a printed mailer at 250 lands around $2 a box and a rigid box at 100 lands nearer $8.
How long did these take to make?
10 to 14 days on press for the flat formats and 12 to 15 for anything wrapped or assembled by hand, with the clock starting at proof approval. Artwork usually adds two or three days before that, depending on how quickly the changes come back.
Can you do something that is not shown here?
Probably. Windows, sleeves, inserts, dividers, custom die cuts and unusual shapes are all normal work. If it can be printed on board and folded, ask.
Are these real boxes or stock photographs?
Photographs of real printed boxes, and every one is a format we sell. Any image with another company’s branding in frame gets deleted rather than retouched, which is why this set is smaller than it could be. A gallery padded out with somebody else’s work is not a portfolio.
Why are there no brand names on any of these?
Because we ask first, and plenty of small brands are still quiet about a launch. When a brand says yes, their name goes on. Until then the box gets shown and the label does not, which is the version we would want if it were our launch.
Can you make a box I saw somewhere else?
The construction yes, and usually the material too. Send a photo and we will tell you what it is. The artwork is a different question: copying somebody’s design is their problem to raise and our reputation to lose, so bring us the shape and bring your own brand.
How large an order do I need for something to look like this?
A hundred. Everything on this page is available from our normal minimum, which is most of the reason the page exists. Full colour print stopped being a large run privilege a long time ago. What a bigger run buys is a lower price per box, not a better looking box.
Can I save these for a moodboard?
Please do, and send them back to us with a note about what you like. A picture with three words on it beats a paragraph describing a finish, and it is the quickest way to get a quote that matches the box in your head rather than the one in ours.
