What will your boxes actually cost?

Because two boxes at the same size and quantity can differ by 40 percent once board, print coverage and finish are settled. Quoting you a single number before we know those would be a guess dressed up as a price. The range is honest about what we know at this point, and the quote is exact.

That is the only kind we do. There is no trade account to apply for and no threshold to clear: the unit price falls as the run grows, from 100 boxes upward, and every product page carries the table showing what it does at each quantity. The part worth knowing is where it stops. Setup spreads across a run and board, ink and freight do not, so past roughly a thousand boxes the per box price flattens and ordering more costs proportionally more rather than less. We would rather tell you that than sell you two thousand boxes you will store for a year.

Quantity, and it is not close. Setup, plates and press make ready cost the same whether we run a hundred boxes or five thousand, so that cost spreads thinner the more you order. Doubling a run rarely doubles the bill. Going from 100 to 500 often drops the per box price by a third or more.

Foil and embossing, most of the time. They look wonderful and they add real money to a small run, and almost nobody buying a $20 product notices them. Spend it on a heavier board and a well fitted insert instead. A box that arrives undamaged with the product sitting still does more for your brand than a shiny logo.

Really free, including on reorders. We make our money on the print run, not on design hours, and a well built file actually costs us less to produce. If your artwork needs a full brand identity built from nothing, that is a different job and we will say so rather than quietly bill it.

Yes, and it is quoted separately because it depends entirely on where the boxes go and how many there are. Flat formats ship cheaply because they pack tight. Assembled rigid boxes take up air, so freight on those is a real line item rather than an afterthought.

Prices on this site are shown before tax, which is the US convention. If you are a brand buying packaging that will be resold with your product, you are often exempt. Send us your resale certificate and we will apply it.

Sometimes, and we will tell you when we cannot. Send us the quote and the spec. If somebody is genuinely cheaper for the same board and the same finish, that is worth knowing, and we would rather say so than win the job at a price that quietly cuts a corner.

Thirty days as standard. Board prices move, and holding a number for six months would mean padding every quote to cover it. If your launch slips, tell us and we will requote rather than let it lapse quietly.

Because it is made in a completely different way. A mailer is one printed sheet, die cut and folded, and a machine does nearly all of the work. A rigid box is greyboard cut to size, wrapped in printed paper and largely assembled by hand. That is why a rigid box at a hundred lands nearer $8 while a printed mailer at 250 is around $2. You are paying for labour, not for a fancier logo.

At the same quantity, no, and anyone promising otherwise has padded the first quote. The file already exists, so the saving is in time rather than money. Where a reorder does get cheaper is when you order more of it, which is the sensible move once you know the size is right: going from 250 to 1,000 on a mailer takes the unit price down by about 40 percent.
